SpillSmart FloorSweep Absorbent is a premium floor sweep designed to control messy liquid incidents quickly and cleanly. It is suitable for a broad range of liquids including petroleum, diesel, petrol, lubricants, solvents, cooking oil, sewage, and protein-based fluids. It is not recommended for strong acids or strong alkalis. Made from selected Australian cellulose, it combines high absorbency with naturally occurring microbes that assist in the biodegradation of oils and fuel residues once captured. The result is a light, easy to handle product that outperforms heavy clay granules and typical kitty litter while leaving less residue on the floor. Because it is lightweight and highly efficient, crews use less product per spill and spend less time on clean-up, which lowers overall response costs.

Application of SpillSmart FloorSweep Absorbent is simple. Cover the spill, agitate with a stiff broom, and keep adding product until the mix looks dry. The strong wicking action draws liquids deep into the fibres and holds them there, which reduces the chance of re-release and helps prevent secondary contamination of floors and drains. Used absorbent can then be collected for disposal in line with local regulations, with options that may include landfill, bioremediation, or incineration depending on the liquid absorbed and your jurisdiction.
